The restricted substances include Polybrominated diphenyl, lead, hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated biphenyls, cadmium, mercury, and ethers PBDE.

All the manufacturing companies and their responsible representatives for importing and distributing the products are responsible for following the regulations and guidelines. It must be insured while producing or distributing household products like fridges, vacuum cleaners, toys, sports parts, etc. The companies are required to prove that they adhere to the directives established by RoHs.
